This is the most basic level of English test conducted by Cambridge ESOL in the Main Suite Exams. As the name suggests this is the KEY to people hoping to start a career in this English Speaking corporate world. The Details of the Test |

The test can be taken as a paper based exam or a computer based exam. The paper based exams are held at regular intervals 6 times a year. While the Computer based exams are available on a monthly basis at Computer Based Test Centers.
There are 2 versions of the KET namely the KET and KET for Schools. Both follow exactly the same format and the level of the question papers is identical. The only difference is that the content and treatment of topics in KET for Schools have been particularly targeted at the interests and experience of school pupils.
An example would be in the first exercise of Reading & Writing Paper Candidates are told to read Signs, notices & very short text and match them to sentences given |

THE CUE EDGE |

Study Material - CUE English India has developed Audio Visual training material that can help prepare for the KET exam. These resources used in combination with the KET Information for candidates and some daily practice will ensure high scores in KET Examination. The material can be sourced from our nearest Learning Center at Rs.700/- per student.
Student Coaching – CUE English has established a wide and diverse network of Learning centers across India, so that you can enroll yourself and be guided to prepare for the KET exam. The course is conducted for 2 hours weekly for a period of 6 months. The coaching fee of Rs.700 /month is charged to the students. For details of the nearest center please click here
